Lavonia Jones Coleman, age 83, of Dallas, Georgia passed away July 9, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 13, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. Coleman was a native of Rochelle, GA and has lived in Paulding County since 1996. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. She loved gardening, reading, sewing and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: three children: Jimmy (Bonnie) Coleman of Kennesaw, GA, David Coleman of Dallas, GA and Dianne Coleman Johnson of Marietta, GA; three sisters: Shirley McClain, Gwen Avery and Caroline McDevitt; five grandchildren: Sara (Kevin) McFall, Benjamin Coleman, Anna (Dusty) Knight, Michael Johnson and Daniel Johnson; six great-grandchildren and one on the way.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
