Laura Jane Danneman, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Jane LOVED music! She was a piano teacher for almost 50 years. She loved her family, gardening and the beach. She also loved serving in her church and held many leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jane was a devoted follower of our Savior Jesus Christ and left a legacy of love for Him with her children, grand children and great-grand children. Mrs. Danneman was a Registered Nurse and had worked for Smyrna Hospital, Douglas Women's Center, and the Cobb County Health Department.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Danneman, her parents Waymon Carroll and Helen Newton, her step mother Betty Carroll, step father John Newton, brother J.R. Newton and great-grand daughter Lexi Gilland.
Survivors include: 4 children, Joey (Sharon) Danneman, Kristi (Chris) Gilland, Wendy (Danny) Speegle, and Carrie (Steve) Madsen; 21 grandchildren, Cody (Anna) Gilland, Kana (Hunter) Carlson, Jake Danneman, Joshua (Nicki) Danneman, Zachary Danneman, Emily Danneman, Laura Danneman, Mary Danneman, Abby (Justin) Heap, Heidi (Devin) Stott, Jennifer Stout, McKenzie (Delilah) Goulding, Joseph (Alyssa) Stout, Riley Stout, Mitchell Speegle, Austin Speegle, Brandon Speegle, Lindy Madsen, Jackson Madsen, Cameron Madsen, Lizzie Madsen; 12 great - grandchildren, Jett Gilland, Ryder Carlson, Hadley Carlson, Graham Gilland, Gracie Gilland, Ridley Carlson, Paisley Gilland, Madeline Stott, Landon Heap, Mason Stott, Isabelle Heap, Lincoln Heap, Leo Stott, and Jensen Stott; 1 sister, Janice Murphy, 1 brother, Chuck Murphy, and 4 nieces, Sarah Wright, Beth Tollison, Brady Rowland and Blair Matlock and 1 nephew, Zach Murphy.
