Larry Edwin Shogren

Larry Edwin Shogren, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away February 26, 2023. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Legacy Church, 1040 Blackwell Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066 with Pastor Mitchell Shiver officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents: Margaret and Edwin Shogren; sister: Bonnie McConaly; son: Timothy Shogren and great-grandson: Connor Shogren.

Larry was a native of Youngstown, OH living in Beasemer, PA before moving to Marietta, GA 32 years ago. He was a member of Legacy Church in Marietta, served 12 years as a volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park and the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club.

Survivors include: wife: Sherylyne Shogren of Marietta, GA; six children: Debbie (Richard) Allen of Woodstock, GA, Arthur Shogren of Canton, GA, Trina ( Mark) Archibald of Marietta, GA, Shannon (Lisa) Shogren of Isle of Palms, SC, Albert (Michelle) Shogren of Sparta, NJ and Susan (Rod) Kaye of Marietta, GA. seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
