Larry Lamar Jordan, Sr.

Larry Lamar Jordan, Sr., age 75, of Hiram, Georgia passed away July 14, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Macland Road Church of Christ in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows in Dallas, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents GW and Gladys Jordan and brother Paul Jordan.

Larry was a native of Atlanta, GA and a lifelong resident of the Cobb County area. He was a member and deacon at Macland Road Church of Christ in Marietta, GA. He Retired as Lieutenant with the Cobb County Fire Department after 33 years of service. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include: wife of 54 years: Georgia "Ann" Jordan of Hiram, GA; three sons: Larry L. Jordan, Jr. of Hiram, GA, Clint L. Jordan (Crystal) of Hiram, GA, and Brad R. (Kimberly) Jordan of Hiram, GA; two brothers: Wayman (Diane) Jordan of Douglasville, GA and Dennis (Susan) Jordan of Temple, GA; seven grandchildren: Kylie Hoggard, Bailey and Ashlyn Jordan of Frisco, TX, Dylan and Austin Rollins, Colton Jordan and Josh Jordan; two great-grandchildren: Ryker Hoggard and Madilyn Rollins and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.

Pallbearers will be members of the Cobb County Fire Department and Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy O'Neal, Jeff Moss, Chris Moss, Hayden Ingram, Jordan Ingram, Wayman Jordan, Jr. and Jim Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry Jordan's memory to the Georgia Burn Center or Children's Burn Center at Egleston.
