Larry Joe Herman, 77, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. He was born in Missouri in 1947. He attended Savannah High School in Savannah, MO and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Karl and Garnet (Brewer) Herman of Savannah, MO. Larry is survived by his wife, Janice Herman; his daughters, Tamara Herman, Kara Heberling, son in-law Eric Heberling; grandchildren, Jaeden Heberling and Amelia Heberling. Also surviving is his brother Leonard (LD) Herman of Gladstone, MO.
Larry was a classic car collector and enthusiast. He owned his own metal fabrication business, Paragon Specialty Products of Marietta, GA and worked in the outdoor sign community for 30+ years.
Larry spent his retirement working on old vehicles, and also spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Hobbies included vintage weapons, watching westerns, playing solitaire, and spending time with one of his closest friends and neighbors Dan Obosla, owner of Automotive Technology & Repair in Marietta, GA.
