Larry Bishop

Larry C. Bishop, age 64, of Blue Ridge (formerly of Marietta) passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 2 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta.
Larry enjoyed many years of playing music in several bands in Columbus, GA starting with the Accents, The Cotillions and the One Night Stand. While living in Marietta, GA he played with the band, Rambling Grass. He was inducted into the Georgia Blue Grass Hall of Fame and was a graduate of Auburn University. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owner of a Burger King franchise.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Julian Bishop.

Son: Julian Brent Bishop and his wife, Christine Bishop
and their children: Mckenna and Julian of Powder Springs, GA
Mother: Berta Bishop of Columbus, GA
Sister: Nancy Love Butler and her husband, Jake Butler of Atlanta, GA
Niece: Margaret Love of Columbus, GA
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to: Georgia Mountains Hospice, Inc., 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143.
