Kenneth Wayne Strickland

Kenneth Wayne Strickland, age 88, of Austell, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 14, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Grant Cole officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

A native of Cedartown, GA, Mr. Strickland moved to Austell, GA in 1985 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for New York Central Railroad for over 28 years. Afterwards, he worked at Lockheed. He was a strong Pentacostal, and was a faithful member of Living Stone Church.

Survivors include: Beloved wife of 64 years, Margaret A. Strickland; 4 Children, Kendra (Paul) Shearer, Kim Strickland, Karen (Randy) Troyer, and Scott (Rhonda) Strickland; 2 Siblings, Randall (Janice) Strickland and Juanita (Alan) Doeg; 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
