Kenneth Page Burton, age 90, of Marietta, GA passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Chicago, IL, Mr. Burton served in the Fifteenth Air Force during WWII, and was a graduate of Syracuse University. After working for the Navy Bureau of Aeronautics in Washington, DC, he worked as a staff engineer for Lockheed in Marietta, where he retired after 28 years of employment.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey, a daughter, Lisa, and a grandson, Jeffrey, Jr.
Contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or to the Marietta chapter of the Salvation Army. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook @ www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
