Kay Marie Harres

Kay Marie Harres, age 80, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away April 2, 2021. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA.
Mrs. Harres was a native of Illinois and lived in Powder Springs, GA for more than 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta. Kay was involved with Bible study groups, Christian Women's Club, Red Hat Society and the Jack Aaron Sunday School Class. She especially loved spending time with her loving family.
Survivors include: husband of 61 years Virgil Harres; daughter: Cindy Washburn of Powder Springs, GA; son: Bryan (Kathy) Harres of Panama City Beach, FL; five grandchildren: Colin Washburn, Lauren Washburn, Sarah (Harres) Verkamp, Samantha Harres and Stryder Harres; sisters: Nancy (William) Nobbe of Waterloo, IL and Ellen (Ben) Mayes of Naples, FL.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
