Katiesue Arlene O'Shields, age 68, of Cartersville, GA passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Don O'Shields officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native of Cabbagetown (Atlanta), Mrs. O'Shields moved to Cartersville, GA after living in Smyrna, GA for most of her life. She worked for Cobb General Hospital for 12 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, singing and dancing, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lorena Nichols, her husband, William O'Shields, a grandson, Brandon Shaw, and her siblings, Evelyn Sheppered, Henry Nichols, Bill Nichols, Alizabeth Crawford, Hazel Rodgers, Woodrow Nichols, Vivian Turner, Patricia Cathy, Butch Nichols, Virginia Gullet, and Jimmy Nichols.

Survivors include: 2 Children, William (Kitty) O'Shields, Cartersville, GA and Amanda O'Shields, Atlanta, GA; Step Daughter, Lynn (Kelly) Turner, Chattanooga, TN; 2 Brothers, David (Marilyn) Nichols, Dallas, GA, and Robert (Judy) Nichols, Cedartown, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Stormie O'Shields, Summer O'Shields, Will O'Shields, and Bryan Whitman, all of Cartersville, GA.
