Kathy A. Smith, age 60, of Douglasville, passed away on January 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia, with Reverend Keith Collins officiating. Mrs. Smith will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Pebblebrook High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church and prepared many meals for her church family as part of the Bereavement Committee. She is survived by her husband, Steve Smith of Douglasville; Sons, Eric Steve (Joanna) Smith II of Carrollton and Deric Smith of Douglasville and her Mother Lois Carr of Mableton.
