Kathleen B. Owenby

Kathleen B. Owenby, age 91, of Marietta passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ben Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Mrs. Owenby is a lifelong resident of Marietta. She and her husband, Blaine, worked side-by-side at their business, Cobb County Tool & Engineering Company before retiring together in 1989. She loved deer hunting and fishing and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Ruby Jones as well as all of her 10 siblings.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Blaine A. Owenby, Marietta, GA; children: Bonnie Sue (Richard) Fuscia, Cedartown, Randal Blaine (Joyce) Owenby, Jemison, AL, Michael Wayne (Tammy) Owenby, Carrollton and Rebecca Marie (Sam) Hembree, Dallas; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
