Kathleen Clonts Cherry, age 72, of Dallas, Georgia passed away August 19, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
Born and raised in California, Mrs. Cherry moved to Atlanta in 1966, then to Cobb County in 1969. She was a member of Due West United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening, crafts and sewing.
Survived by: Husband, Dwight Cherry; 2 Daughters, Laurel Clonts (Scott) Malcolm, Marietta, GA and Christy Brown, Dallas, GA; 3 Grandchildren, Clay (Lexi) Malcolm, Tyler Brown and McKenzie Brown; 3 Great Grandchildren, Olivia Malcolm, Rosie Malcolm and Kennedy Reid; Brother-in-law, Rex Knopf: Sister-in-law, Marilyn Hinson (James); Niece Meredith Bradham (Jody); Step-son Michael Cherry (Chrystal); Grandson Trent.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
