Karen Carpenter

Karen Michelle Carpenter, age 57, of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Yorkville City Cemetery in Yorkville, Georgia.

A native of Cobb County, Mrs. Carpenter moved to Ball Ground, GA in 1996. She had attended Osborne High School, and had worked for the Bones Bed and Bath as a dog groomer for 12 years.

Survivors include: Husband of 39 years, James Otis Carpenter, Jr.; Daughter, Tiffany Carpenter, Jasper, GA and son-in-law, Lawson Ledbetter, Jasper, GA; Sister, Tammy (Pete) Gault, Rockmart, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Amber Tello, Joel Tello, Paige Ledbetter and Wyatt Ledbetter; 2 Nephews, Jamie Gault, Rockmart, GA and Jeffrey Gault, Dallas, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen Carpenter's memory to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
