Kaitlyn "Katie" Michelle Dunn, age 16, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away September 2, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Katie will Lie in State from 10:00am until the service hour. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
Katie attended First Baptist Church Powder Springs, was a Junior at Hillgrove High School and she enjoyed photography and art.
She is survived by her parents: Mike and Jodi Dunn of Powder Springs, brother: Dylan Dunn of New Castle, CO, maternal grandparents: Art and Carol Guilfoil of Canton, and paternal grandparents: James and Nancy Dunn of Powder Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katie Dunn's memory to Children's Healthcare at https://www.choa.org/ or platelet donations thru The American Red Cross http://www.redcrossblood.org/platelets
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
