Julia Jeanette Jones

Julia Jeanette Jones, age 89, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away November 18, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Mableton Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Jones, her parents, Robert and Dollie Deyton, two sons, Michael Hyde and Donovan Jones and eight siblings.

Julia was a native of Blairsville, GA and lived most of her life in Cobb County, GA. She loved to shop, sing, play guitar, write songs, loved Elvis and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include: two daughters: Amber Harris of Marietta, GA and Lori Shepherd of Powder Springs, GA and son-in-law Fred Sevani of Austell, GA; seven grandchildren: John Shepherd, Tyler Hyde, Donovan Jones, Dalton Armistead and Caleb Jones, Michael Jones and Jade Jones; two great-grandchildren: Riley and Brantley Hyde; five siblings: Frances Henson, Jo Davis, Jimmy Deyton, Billy Deyton and Lynn Zeitouni and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
