Judy Ayers

Judy Castleberry Ayers, age 79, known as "JuJu" to her family, passed away February 6, 2021, following a brief illness.

JuJu was a long-time resident of Marietta, Georgia. After a successful career, she retired from J.C. Penney, IBM Corporation and Willis Corroon Insurance Group, and after retirement, JuJu loved to spend time with her grandchildren and all of her many fur babies over the years. As an avid animal lover, she was known for taking in both rescue dogs and cats.
JuJu is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney L. Castleberry, Sr. and Helen Castleberry McCullough, and her granddaughter, Dana Byers.

JuJu is survived by her two sons and daughter, Robby and Judy Ann Ayers of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Matt Ayers of Marietta, Georgia. JuJu was blessed with seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved brothers and sisters, Lanny and Janice Castleberry, Sheri Cochran, Mike and Reva Castleberry, Donna and Larry Sturdevant, Rebecca Kafka, Kathy Castleberry, Denise and Eddie Ethridge and Dawn Castleberry.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 9am until 10:30am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery, Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, Georgia.
