Joshua May Chaney

Joshua May Chaney, III, age 75, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 28th in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
Born in a one room log cabin on September 10, 1937 in Halifax County, VA, Mr. Chaney entered the United States Army at the age of 17. He was stationed in Germany and served in the special weapons unit from 1955 to 1959, where he met the love of his life, Elisabeth Glahn Chaney. Her family became his family and he adopted the town of Rieschwieler where many good friends still live.
He spent most of his life in transportation, from a driver to a Regional Vice President of Pro Source. He has been retired for 15 years this past January.
Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Elisabeth Glahn Chaney; Brother, Jerry W. Chaney; Many Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
