Joshua Michael Bender

Joshua Michael Bender, age 34, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 10, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Mick McLaughlin officiating. 

Joshua was a native of Atlanta and life long resident of Cobb County, GA. He graduated from Osborne High School in 2006, Graduated from Wyotech in 2011 in Performance Automotive, he was currently completing Ford Master Mechanic Certification when he passed. He loved working on cars, racing, Mustangs and built a 2 time winning NOPI Amateur Mustang with the owner. Joshua had a need for speed, he loved animals, kids and all loved him also. He loved computer gaming with his dad and family who he loved and lived for.

Survivors include: parents: Eric and Cindi Bender; brothers: Shaun (Heather) Wallace and Ryan (Christina) Thompson; grandmother: Audrey Bender; aunts: Pammie Bailey, Julie Lundquist and uncle Albert Lundquist and uncle Dee Jordan; nephews: Elijah, Kaiden, Gavin Wallace and Elijah Thompson; nieces: Desjah and Kylie Thompson and cousin: Tyler Jordan.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
