Joseph Boyd "J.B." Overstreet

Joseph Boyd "J.B." Overstreet, age 92, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Scotty Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia on Monday, October 31st.

A native of Alabama, Mr. Overstreet moved to Chattahoochee, GA in 1946, where he worked for Whittier Mills in Atlanta. Afterwards, he worked for the City of Atlanta Water Works as a Steam Turbine Engineer, retiring after 25 years of employment. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee, and loved playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Overstreet, in 1987.

Survivors include: 2 Sons, Steve (Sarah) Overstreet, Powder Springs, GA, and Tony Overstreet, Acworth, GA; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
