Joseph Michael Marigliano 67, of Marietta, passed away on, Wednesday, April 20th 2011 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle of sepsis shock.
Joe was born in Queens, New York on May 24, 1943. He was the son of the late Dorothy and Dominic Marigliano, of Astoria, NY. Joe Lived in Queens, NY, Glendale, CA and Mastic, NY and then moved to Marietta GA. Joe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Marigliano and four loving children, Dorothy Clari (Dee Dee), of Long Island, NY, Joseph Mariglliano (Joe), of Long Island, NY, Tina Nunez of Woodstock, GA and Sabrina Diehl (Brie ) of Woodstock, GA. Joe was also blessed with sixteen grandchildren and four great –grandchildren. Joe is also survived by three brothers, Donald Marigliano, of NJ, James Marigliano of Astoria, NY and Michael Marigliano of Long Island, NY, and one sister, Theo Nadjek of Long Island, NY. Additionally, Joe was blessed with many lifelong friends, who will miss him greatly. He was a devoted husband and father and a great role model for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joseph worked for Cobb County school district for 7 years and prior to that he worked for Tecnometal as a Brake Operator and for Disney.
Joe loved to gather his family around for card games and laughter and he enjoyed collecting antique cars and brain teaser puzzles. He was a very loving and funny man he had a wonderful sense of humor that always had people laughing and he had this sparkle in his eye that would let you see right into his gentle and loving soul.
