Jordan Compton Foster, age 12, of Marietta, GA passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Thursday, February 8th at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church. He will lie in state at the church from 2pm until 3pm prior to the ceremony.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Jordan attended Vaughn Elementary School, and was a current 7th grader at Lost Mountain Middle School. He participated in the band, and enjoyed playing football (#24) for the Harrison Middle School Football Program. Jordan also loved God, music, his friends and family, and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his parents; Michelle Roberts (mother), Powder Springs, GA; Christopher T. Foster (father) and wife Elena Kochutin, Marietta, GA, and 3 siblings, Jasmine Foster, Terrell Foster, and Natalie Foster; grandparents, Compton (Claire) Roberts, Danny (Phyllis) Pressley, Leonid (Ludmila) Kochutin; great grandmother, Elsie Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory, many aunts and uncles, his cousins and a host of friends from Harrison Middle School and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
