Johnny "Ricky" Wellborn

Johnny “Ricky” Wellborn, age 65 of Marietta, passed away June 12, 2015. Memorial Services will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Elder Jewett Junior Wellborn and Elder Jessie Norman officiating.



Ricky was the assistant minister at John Petree Church of Christ. He was the first Smyrna Park Ranger and formerly employed with the Smyrna Police Department. He is also retired from the Smyrna Post Office.



Ricky is survived by his parents: Jewett Junior and Dola Dean Wellborn of Marietta and 3 children: Matthew S. (Sandy) Wellborn of Hiram, Jessica C. Littlefield of Marietta; Tara N. (Amancio) Sierra of Marietta; brother, Michael A. Wellborn of Carrollton; sister, Pamela S. Garner of Marietta; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
