Johnny Brun

Mr. Johnny Brun, age 96, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the ceremony at the funeral home.

Born In Norway, Mr. Brun had lived most of his life in the United States. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, having served during WWII. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, then worked for Westinghouse for 29 years before retiring. He was also a longtime member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verta Lee Brun.

Daughter: Jane Bishop and husband Murl, Powder Springs, GA

Son: Todd Brun, Austell, GA

2 Brothers: Stanley Brun, Hayward, CA and Kenneth Brun, Carson City, Nevada

6 Grandchildren: Maria, Neal, Marcella, Emma, David and Dana, and 9 Great Grandchildren
