John Allen Streetman III stepped into eternity and into the loving arms of his Savior and Lord, Christ Jesus on October 1, 2018. This is a day of celebration and the fulfillment of grace that Jesus has bestowed upon His children, his home going. What a wonderful and joyous day it is for John! John lived a full and generous life. The legacy that John leaves behind is his faith, family and friends. He walked out his faith with joy during the wonderful times and the most difficult times. He was wise, loving, a good counselor, laughed easily and always had a smile on his face. He was quick to help those who needed help and did so quietly and without fanfare. He was the one you knew you could call on at any time and he would drop whatever he was doing and be there for you.
I can imagine John’s expression of absolute joy and peace as he was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus, that he may have been speechless but....Jesus welcomed him with “John, welcome home my dear and precious child, my faithful servant..........well done!”
Though our hearts are heavy let us recognize this miracle, celebrate and be joyful for what Jesus has done this day....that John is now seeing face to face our precious Savior!
Amazing Grace!
Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see.
T’was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!
When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise then when we first begun.
As John would say, “I will see you later or on the other side!”
ROLL TIDE!
