John Dale Riley

Johnny Dale “John” Riley, Jr., age 66, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Milford Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Born in Canton, GA, Mr. Riley moved to Marietta in 1953. He was a retired Lieutenant with the Cobb County Fire Department, having served for 28 years. He enjoyed volunteering at the CMAR Credit Union for 24 years, and at Windy Hill Hospital. He was an active member of Milford Baptist Church for over 50 years, where he was ordained as a Deacon in 1985, and taught preschool and Sunday school classes. He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Judy Whitley Riley, in 2001.

6 Grandchildren: Mitchell and Matthew Waters, Will and Sam Trautwein, and James and Oliver Cadle
