John Horace Gray

John Horace Gray, age 88, of Sandy Springs, GA passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs, GA. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016, 3:00 pm at St. John United Methodist Church, at 550 Mt. Paran Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327, with Rev. John Purrington officating. He was preceded in death by his parents John T. and Maxie I. Gray.
Horace was a native of Chatsworth, GA and has lived in the Atlanta area most of his life. He retired from Boomershine Service Center after 36 1/2 years of service. Horace loved fishing, car racing, sports of all type and most of all spending time with his family.
Horace is survived by his wife of 57 years Dolly Gray of Sandy Springs, GA; daughter: Crystal Vickers; son: Chris Gray both of Calhoun, GA; and five grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Sunday, June 12, 2016, 2:00-3:00 pm at St John United Methodist Church.
