John Thaddeus Cook, age 65, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in with Marietta Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 1pm.
A native of Jasper, Alabama, Mr. Cook was a proud graduate of the University of Alabama and was active in the Alumni Club. After moving to Powder Springs 36 years ago, he worked at Lockheed for 22 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served during the Vietnam War, and was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church.
