John Thomas Bouse

John Thomas Bouse, age 73 of Marietta, formerly of New York, passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2013. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, April 24 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
Mr. Bouse is preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Christina. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Frances Gurgigno and her husband, Dante of Marietta and his son, John and his wife, Celina of Marietta; grandchildren: Giana, Dante Jr, Vincent, Logan, Paige and Tyler.
Mr. Bouse moved to Georgia in 2009 from Yonkers, New York to be near his family here in Georgia. He was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta. He was a life-long Boy Scout, awesome story teller and history buff. He had a great knowledge of music, loved the news and he made sure to keep everyone up-to-date on current events. He loved his grandchildren and went to all of their activities and sporting events. Everyone knew who he was. He fought until the end. “Tally-Ho, Dad & Grandpa.”
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21 from 5 – 8 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, April 23 from 5 – 8 pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704.
