Joe Franklin Norsworthy

Joe Franklin Norsworthy, Jr., age 61, of Marietta passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, August 23, 2013, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Norsworthy is preceded in death by his father, Joe Franklin Norsworthy, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Joan E. Thomas of Austell; children: Joe Franklin Norsworthy, III and David Allen Norsworthy of Marietta; siblings: Michael F. Norsworthy of Demorest, GA: Sharon Lee Ingersoll of Powder Springs and Andrew L. Norsworthy of Marietta.
Mr. Norsworthy lived in Cobb County most of his life, a graduate of R.L. Osborne High School and was a machinist at Lockheed for many years. He was a member of the NRA and a United States Army Veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne Division.
