Joe E. Haviland

Joe E. Haviland, age 82, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 10, 2014, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Entombment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
Mr. Haviland was a long-time resident of Cobb County. He was a Retired Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Air Force Sergeant’s Association, the Georgia Republicans and a
former member of the Jaycees.
Survivors include his children, David and Beth Haviland of Austell and Diana Dee Haviland of Hiram and grandson, Andrew Haviland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12pm until the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pomona United Methodist Church, 1143 Kilgore Road, Griffin, GA 30223 or Searcy Memorial United Methodist Church, 205 Spalding Street, Griffin, GA 30223.
