Joan Felice Whigham

Joan Felice Whigham, age 87, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Milford Baptist Church in Marietta with Pastor Clarence Howard officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Milford Baptist Church. Interment will follow on Monday, May 15th at 1pm at Kennesaw Memorial Park. A Funeral Procession will leave West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory at 12:30pm on Monday.

Born in Rome, GA, Mrs. Whigham lived in Cobb County for most of her life. She worked for several years as a Bookkeeper with Graybar Electric of Atlanta. She was a member of Milford Baptist Church, she enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, and crocheting, and loved caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaynelle and J.R. Foster, her mother-in-law, Mamie Veazey, her brother, Lynn Foster, her son-in-laws, George Mullins and Tony Fowler, and her grandsons, Jimmy Bailey, Brad Bailey, and Justin Mullins.

Survivors include: Husband of 57 years, James Whigham; 2 Daughters, Donna Fowler, Douglasville, GA, and Darlene Mullins, Austell, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Carla (David) Ruff, Jase Mullins, MacKenzie Jackson, and Nicholas (Kim) Kurland; 4 Great Grandchildren, Kenneth Ruff, Hunter Ruff, Leah Ruff, and Cooper Mullins.
