Mr. Jimmy Wayne McLeroy, age 80, of Powder Springs died Friday, October 28, 2016. A native of
Cleveland County, AL, Mr. McLeroy lived in the Cobb County area for 49 years coming from Bowden, GA.
Mr. McLeroy retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995 as an inspector, he was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Macland Baptist Church and was a member of The #5 Sunday School Class.
He loved traveling and listening to gospel music and he was a master auto detailer.
Mr. McLeroy is survived by his wife, Faye McLeroy of Powder Springs, Children, adopted in love, Robbie and Carla Willis of Powder Springs, one sister, Mrs. Irene Odessa Faulkner of Heflin, AL, one brother, Mr. Danny Gay McLeroy of Heflin, AL.
A memorial service will be held, at 11am, Monday, October 31, 2016 at Macland Baptist Church,
Powder Springs, GA., with Dr. Richard Walker and Robbie Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10am until the service time at the church.
