Jimmie Ray Brown, age 67, of Powder Springs passed away February 16, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 21, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Brown is a native of Bakersfield, California and has lived in Powder Springs for over 20 years. He was a Machine Supervisor for Lockheed Martin for over 22 years and owned A.J. Hauling and Grading for over 10 years. He was a proud United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Doyle and Dorothy Brown and is survived by his wife, Tamara Brown of Powder Springs, GA; his children: Alison (James) Preve of Kittery, ME and James Brown of Powder Springs, GA; 3 brothers: Duane Brown of Filmore, CA, Gerald Brown of Burbank, CA ad Robert Brown of Filmore, CA.
