Jessie Patrica Andrews

Jessie Patricia Andrews was born on August 22, 1942, in Georgetown, Guyana to (the late) Edward and Mavis (Archer) Forrester and was one of twelve children.
Jessie attended Comenius Moravian School and was awarded an academic scholarship the prestigious school in Georgetown, Guyana, Bishops High School.
In 1961 Jessie met Carl and the two united in holy matrimony in 1962. The decision was made to migrate to the United States and settle in Queens, New York in 1966. Thereafter, she obtained citizenship and sent for her husband, Carl and her four children. They later resided in Cambria Heights, New York where they would make a life together and raise their children. In the late 1960's, Jessie began her career with Price Waterhouse. Her dedication and hard work over the years, allowed her to retire in the early 1990's and start her own business, Procedural Process Incorporated, in partnership with her daughter Marcia.
In May of 2005, both Carl and Jessie, relocated to Marietta, Georgia to enjoy their retirement, alongside their children and grandchildren.
Jessie was a kind, smart, loving, selfless, and God-fearing women. She was loved dearly by her family and friends. In Jessie's heart, she believed in giving freely, always thinking of others before herself. She was always willing to help others without asking "why". As a woman of great character and strength, she was well respected by all who knew and loved her. When you crossed Jessie's path, you instantly gravitated to her personality and her beautiful smile. No one Jessie met was a stranger in her eyes. Her infectious smile, wit and sense of humor lightened every moment she was a part of. Jessie cherished her family, and always encouraged her children, grandchildren, and great grandson to excel in any and everything they put their minds to. She instilled this advice to her children and grandchildren so that they would strive daily to make their mother/grandmother proud.
On Friday, October 13, 2017, Jessie transitioned from this earth to take her place with her Heavenly Father. Preceding her in death was her husband Carl, loving parents Edward and Mavis Forrester, her sister Neville, Joan and her brother George Forrester. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons: Steve Andrews and Warren (Daugter-in-law, Carol) Andrews; her two daughters: Marcia (Gregory) Corlette and Candace Andrews; her grandchildren: Alaiah, Kirsten, Justine, Matthew, Keyanna, Warren (Renny) Jr., Marcus, Phylicia, Kameca, David and Lauren; her one great grandson Master Ryan; her five sisters: Judy Forrester, Rita Sealy, Elaine Gittens, Carol Forrester and Joy Forrester Mason; her three brothers: Godfrey Forrester, Reynold Forrester and Philip Forrester; her in-laws, Pearlene Langford, Ulric Langford, and Philip Andrews, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Jessie's love extended beyond her immediate family, also leaving behind, Don Davis, Sonja Bernard, Oneida Brown, Alijaa and Sincere Young.
