Jerry Laverne Abernathy, Jr., age 42, of Marietta, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 2 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Richard Peace officiating.
Jerry lived in California for 7 years and then settled in Marietta in 1988. He loved riding motorcycles and was a part of the Biker Down Association. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Laverne Abernathy, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Bonnie Lee Nalley, Marietta; grandmother, Lilly Mae Rogers, Marietta; brother, William Abernathy and his wife, Debbi, Cartersville and sister, Malea Crumbley and her husband, Robert, Marietta and many loving nieces and nephews.
