Jerry Roy Ashworth

Jerry Roy Ashworth, age 80, of Marietta passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta with Rev. Adam Godbold officiating. There will be no funeral procession from the funeral home to the cemetery. The family will meet at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Ashworth was the owner of Trophy Hut, Inc. in Marietta and was a veteran of the Georgia Air National Guard. He was a native of Canton, and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Ashworth was a member of the HD Marine Couples and Kids Tournament Trail and was a avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Forrest and Dona Mae Ashworth and son, Timothy Roy Ashworth, Sr.

Mr. Ashworth is survived by his wife, Sandra Bernice Vaughn Ashworth; children, Teronda A. (Douglas) Hunn, Stephen Ashworth and John D. (Rebekah) Ashworth Sr.; two sisters, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
