Scotty was a brave and loving soul. He was plagued with juvenile diabetes since the age of 5 years old. His Doctor told us then that he would only live until his 20's and he fought the good fight until the age of 43. Yes he had many health conditions but was brave and took them all head on. He had great tenacity and strength with which he weathered this life as best he could while battling this disease. But I don't want him remembered just for that. He was also very funny and loved baseball. He was an avid baseball card collector and a huge Cubs fan. He loved his family very much and he made sure we knew it. Although it was his time to leave us on this earth he will not be forgotten by all those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace and watch over all of us until we meet again.
