Jeanette S. Gerdes, age 71, of Acworth, GA passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Don Graves officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, GA.
Born in Sylacauga, AL, Jeanette resided in Cobb County, GA for the last 22 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Montevallo in Alabama, and had retired from Allstate Insurance Company after 15 years of employment. After retirement, she enjoyed working part-time at Hallmark in Kennesaw.

Jeff (Kim) Gerdes, Marietta, GA
Jennifer Gerdes and Bobby Brown, Acworth, GA
Sister: Joy (Don) Graves, Childersburg, AL
Grandchildren: Jessica Dean and fiancé Brad Swindler, Tristan Gerdes, Amber (Jeff) Barnwell, Justin (Liz) Dean, Christian Gerdes, James Gerdes, Aaron Brown and Michael Greenlaw
Great Grandchildren: Ethan Swindler, Liam Dean and Joelle Barnwell
