Jean Knight McLendon

Jean Knight McLendon, age 83, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta (at the intersection of Macland Road and the East-West Connector) with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.



A native of Atlanta, Jean, along with family, moved to Powder Springs 12 years ago from Sandy Springs. She graduated from Brown High School, then attended the University of Georgia where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She excelled as a real estate agent for over 25 years, is a member of the Million Dollar Club with the Sandy Springs office of Northside Realty, and is a past president of Alpha Chi Omega at UGA.

3 Grandchildren: William Fowler Riley, III, Dr. Lauren Katherine Riley, and Edward Duval McLendon
