Jaynell M. Fleming

Jaynell M. Fleming, age 94, of Jasper, Georgia passed away June 12, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, with Pastor Leonard Chambers and Chris Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Walter Fleming, her daughter Joan Favors, her parents, Henry Richard and Lilla Estell Pylant, and her sister, Bernice Springfield.

Mrs. Fleming was a native of Atlanta, GA, had lived in the Cobb and Paulding County areas for many years before moving to Jasper Georgia. She was a graduate of O'Keefe High School in Atlanta, and worked as a Nurse for many years, retiring as an Office Manger with a GI Practice in Marietta, GA. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia.

Survivors include: Two sons: Steve (Kay) Fleming of Mableton, GA, and Jimmy (Robyne) Fleming of Jasper, GA; Brother, Floyd Pylant; Five grandchildren: Chris Fleming, Jason (Kim) Fleming, Jennifer (Mike) Welborn, Jessica Fleming and Kristy Stewart; Eight great-grandchildren: Madeline, Sarah, Charlie, Sophie, Abbie, Scott, Christian, and Michael "Jack" Welborn.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
