Jason “Drew” Elliott, 31, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on September 29, 2022 with family by his side as he entered the Gates of Heaven. He was born on September 26, 1991 in Austell, Georgia. He attended Nebo Elementary School, South Paulding Middle School, and South Paulding High School where he graduated in 2010.
Drew loved his family with all his heart. He always enjoyed spending time with them whether it be in Georgia or Tennessee. He was full of life and always had a smile on his face. He endured a lot of challenges in his life but always stayed positive no matter what. He touched a lot of lives and inspired so many to keep going and never give up. Once you knew Drew you would never be able to forget him. He was the biggest fan of the Atlanta Braves, Hawks, Falcons and of course his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. If there was a game on no matter what sport it was you knew what he was doing and not to bother him. He was also an avid wrestling fan. He attended WestRidge Church in Dallas, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stacey Rymer, his Nana, Donna Gresham, his maternal great-grandmothers, Louise Watkins and Sara Elliott, his paternal great-grandparents, Woodrow and Margaret Brancefield, his step-grandmother, Joyce Elliott and other beloved family members. His maternal great-grandfather, Virgil Elliott joined him the following morning.
Drew is survived by his mother, Dana Rymer, his brother, Cody Rymer, his maternal grandfather, Donnie Elliott, his paternal grandparents Troy and Joann Griffin, his Aunt Denise Elliott and 2 cousins Austyn Tschantz and Ayden Rogers, along with an abundance of other family members.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October, 8, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
The pastors for his service will be Bro. Jack Henry and Bro. Ron Burgess.
