Jason Edward Dickerson

Jason Edward Dickerson, at the young age of 49, passed peacefully surrounded by his family after a short illness. Jason was born on April 9, 1974, to parents John W. Dickerson and Barbara Gantt Dickerson. Jason proudly graduated high school.
He was preceded in death by his father, John William Dickerson.
Jason is survived by his doting mother, Barbara Gantt Dickerson; his brothers, Danny Dickerson and Garry Dickerson; his sister, Linda Spencer; along with many extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 6 pm until 8 pm. A second visitation time will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 12 noon until 1 pm, with a funeral service at 1 pm. Interment will directly follow at Cheatham Hills Memorial Park.

Born with Down syndrome, Jason was a fanatic about Country and Gospel music, having a huge library with every title you could think of. He loved to draw, watch movies and a daily stream of tv shows. Jason loved his family and was always excited when one of us visited. Jason was a blessing to everyone he touched and will be sorely missed.
