Janice Elizabeth Morgan

Janice Elizabeth Wood Morgan, age 86 of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020.
Mrs. Morgan was born in Athens, Georgia, attended Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and was the author of several historical research publications.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl H. Wood and Mary Lucille Close Wood, and her husband, Frederic L. Morgan.
She is survived by her children, John F. Morgan, Catherine Morgan Chapman, Scott D. Williams and Margaret Morgan Silbernagel; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Morgan is also survived by four siblings, Mhyrline Wood Frankum, Dorothy Wood Gentry, Margaret Wood Peck and Carl Thomas Wood, ten nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Rev. Carl Thomas Wood, Mrs. Morgan's brother, will be officiating a closed service.
