Janice Marie Henderson

Janice Marie Henderson, age 67, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Samuel Leigon and Rev. Snyder Turner officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, November 16th at 10:30am at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. A native of South Georgia, Mrs. Henderson moved to Powder Springs 23 years ago from Atlanta. She retired from R.B.M. Mercedes as a cashier, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mable Duerr, and 3 brothers, Bobby, Charles and Eddy. Survivors: Husband: Jack Henderson, Powder Springs, GA 2 Children: Christy (Russell) Finley, Hiram, Ga Richard Henderson, Rock Springs, GA 2 Sisters: Mary Pittman, Marietta, GA Nell Garmon, Dallas, GA 3 Grandchildren: Danielle Finley, Lauren Henderson and Ashlyn Henderson 1 Great Grandchild on the way, Austin Jackson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Children’s Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
