Jan Powell McMullen entered paradise Monday evening, July 10. Heaven has never been so delighted to welcome such an incredibly talented angel. She will add sparkle to the streets of gold, dazzle to the pearly gates and prepare a centerpiece for the lavish banquet table like no other angel. Jan had a knack for adding panache to the mundane; every gathering was a spectacular event thanks to the amazing creative ability of this remarkable woman. She leaves behind her 2 equally talented and loving sons, Tyler McMullen, 29 (in Destin) and Tanner McMullen, 28 (in Denver, CO). As well as her family, twin sis Joan Powell Shuler (in Marietta) brother Sonny Powell (in Carrolton) and sister Linda Brown (in Marietta). Jan will leave a huge gaping hole in the social life of Marietta and P.C.B. where she added such an immense amount of fun and giggles to every event, girls’ trips and really just life in general. Heaven is fortunate. Planet Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain.

The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Marietta Garden Center, 505 Kennesaw Ave, Marietta, GA 30060

A Memorial Service will be held 11am, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Log Cabin Community Church, 2699 Log Cabin Drive SE, Vinings, GA 30339 with Rev. Gil Watson officiating.
