Jamie Gossett

Jamie Griffith Gossett, age 47, of Cedar Bluff, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating.

Born in Marietta, GA, Jamie attended Sprayberry and McEachern High Schools before obtaining her GED. Afterwards, she graduated from MEDIX Medical School. She is preceded in death by her husband, John William Gossett II, and a son, John William "Jay" Gossett III.

Survivors include: Son, James Austin Gossett and wife Destiny J. Taylor; Mother, Toni Griffith; Father, Ron Griffith and wife Mary Thorson; Grandchild, Jay Jaxon Gossett; Brother, Michael Gerhard and wife Roxanne Gerhard; Sister, Beth Rampley and husband Tommy Rampley, and nephews Taylor (Valinda) Rampley and Connor Rampley; Grandmother, Jackie Roach; Grandson, Evan Phillips; Daughter, Brianna Tippett and husband Joey Tippett, and grandchildren, Jameson and Sophia; Chosen Daughter, Leslie Jones and grandchildren, Timber and Emory.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
