Mrs. Jamie Lou Berry, age 64, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road in Marietta with Mr. Sam Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
Born in Kalamazoo, MI, Mrs. Berry moved to Marietta 34 years ago. She worked as an LPN at Bethesda Family Practice in Powder Springs. Mrs. Berry was a member of East Piedmont Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David A. Berry, Sr.; mother, Betty Schreuder; daughter, Kim Stone and husband, Johnny of Dallas, GA; stepson, David A. Berry, Jr. of Houston, TX; siblings, Lynne (Dave) Sandula of Pinckney , MI, Sue (Gil)Henry of Adrian, MI, Nancy Schreuder of Kalamazoo, MI and John (Barb) Schreuder of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Ava Gabryle Stone, Jaxson Everett Stone and Alexa Berry; 7 nieces and 4 nephews; best friend, Terri Lassiter; “The Fab Five” and all the wonderful coworkers and family at Bethesda Family Practice.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6pm-8pm.
