James Wayne Waddell Sr.

Mr. James Wayne "Jimmy" Waddell, Sr. passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Waddell on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 3 PM in the chapel at West Cobb Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-3 PM Prior to the service on Wednesday.
Mr. Waddell was a Graduate of Osborne High School Class of 1959. While at Osborne, he was a three sport Athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. Mr. Waddell was a little league coach and an umpire for Milford Park Baseball, he also was an umpire for high school baseball as well. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by: his parents, William Lawrence Waddell and Virginia Lee Martin Waddell; his sister, Barbara Martin; and his brother, Bill Waddell, Jr.
Mr. Waddell is survived by: his wife, Melissa Johnson Waddell of Dallas, GA; his sons, James Wayne Waddell, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Jeffrey Scott Waddell (Angie) of Peachtree City, GA, and Joey Waddell (Kristen) of Dallas, GA; his granddaughter, Haley Waddell; his brother, Paul Waddell, Sr.; his sisters, Patsy Kinder and Claudette Poole, and many nieces and nephews.
