James Ledford Thompson

James Ledford Thompson, age 95, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery.

Born in Aragon, GA, Mr. Thompson lived in Powder Springs for the past 50 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, having served during WWII. He owned and operated Ace Mailing Services for over 40 years, and was a 50 year member of the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.

Survivors include:

3 Sons: Jimmy Thompson, McDonough, GA, Charles (Dilene) Thompson, Marshallville, GA and Ronnie (Debbie) Thompson, Marietta, GA

Step Son: Billy (Shirley) Honea, Powder Springs, GA

10 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren
